That was mostly driver improvement, but the tires seemed even more sticky and responsive than the R888s. RE71rs just melt. I’m leaning toward Bridgestone S007s. The NT01 and R888 are both a rating of 100; the PSS has a UTQG of 300. NT01 is a very similar compound to the Toyo R888R, but obviously a different tread pattern and probably some differences in carcass design too. The acceptable rim width comes directly from the manufacturer. From what I was told, the 888 (not r) was different than the NT01, but the 888R was the same except for the tread pattern, but if you have run them both, then I believe you.
